First National Bank COVID-19 UPDATE

On behalf of our entire team at First National Bank of Sparta, I’d like to thank you for your patience and loyalty over the past 12 weeks as we adapted your banking experience for the safety and well-being of our customers, colleagues and our community. As of today, we are welcoming all of our friends and customers back into our lobby.

With the safety of our community in mind, we are doing things a little different then we have in the past.

  •   We still recommend that you use our drive up and walk up facilities. We will continue to perform all types of transactions through these facilities. 
  •  Employees who can’t maintain a safe social distance from other team members or customers will wear face coverings.
  •  Customers are also encouraged to wear coverings, and we have single use masks available for your use upon request.
  •  Clear, Protective shields have been added to teller stations in the lobby.
  •  Easy to identify social distancing markers are in place in the lobby.
  •  Hand sanitizer is located throughout the bank
  •  Enhanced cleaning is performed throughout the day, with special emphasis on all high touch surfaces.
  •  We are limiting access to certain parts of our lobby to customers.
  •  Our public restroom and water fountain have been closed.
  •  At times we may limit the number of customers allowed in the bank to ensure the safest banking experience possible for our customers.
  • If you need to perform anything other than routine deposit or withdrawal transactions scheduling an appointment in advance is recommended.  You can schedule an appointment by calling us at 618-443-2187 during regular business hours.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and may implement further control measures as events unfold and dictate. You can continue to follow our updates on line at www.fnbsparta.com or on our Facebook page.
